I was using Geko and work very good for my aplication. I also like the fact that the battery last for a long time. This is not very useful for OSM datalogging, but very convenient for navigation and Geio. Controlling the Geko can be heko easily with one hand, as there are just five buttons to access all features.
The battery life is poor compared to other models, but a new set of AAAs will last you all day. The barometric altimeter is unnecessary, as the satellite altimeters already work fine.

I bought it for the variometer, altimeter, bearing and speed since I fly hot air balloons. The built-in serial interface supports data exchange with a PC. IMO, best bike option.
