I was messing around with some different OS’s in a virtual PC environment. The versatile General MIDI emulation from E-mu, the ability to load your own MIDI samples into memory, and the natural-sounding text-to-speech engine make this card a great choice for anyone looking for state-of-the-art PC audio. Creative Labs owns E-mu, so it’s no surprise that Sound Blaster cards are starting to use audio technology from this outstanding keyboard-synthesizer manufacturer. The board was also fully compatible with the AWE32 option in software and used the same Windows drivers. Link just goes to Creatives top page.

The features and interfaces that aqe32 supported by the Solaris sbpro driver are described in the audio 7I and sbpro 7D man pages. Was this review helpful? This did not affect the Creative Wave Blaster daughterboard header. Also, bass lvl can be set very nicely on AWE too.
It is an expansion board for PCs and is part of the Sound Blaster family of awwe32. The option was used mostly as an effect engine for chorus and flanging effects. There were many variants and revisions of the AWE32, however, with numerous variations in audio chipset, amplifier selection and design, and supported features.
These drivers worked great. The package also contains a strong selection of audio applications and utilities, including Creative VoiceAssist, an easy-to-use speech recognition system; Creative WaveStudio 2. Allowing you to bring the onboard RAM up to 28MB means this board will attract serious attention ae32 professional musicians.
